Seattle Delivery Zones

See coverage maps & fees for each neighborhood we serve

We aim to keep costs as low as possible, but part of this business is  covering trucking costs - fuel, maintenance, and accounting for the time it takes to get into the different neighborhoods around Seattle.

We've come up with a zone-based fulfillment approach rooted in our 20 years experience of getting around town. Your zone will be automatically determined based on where in these maps your delivery address falls. But we believe in being up-front and transparent with our customers, so for those curious about the where and the why of our fulfillment - here you go :)

West Seattle | Zone 1

This is our "home base" zone where we commonly arrive via the Fauntleroy Ferry terminal. Zone 1 includes Gatewood, Delridge, Wedgwood, Endolyne.

Delivery: $50.00

Height
  • Low overhead lines or branches are common. Don't forget to look up when considering your drop point.

  • 20ft overhead clearance allows us to fully raise our dump bed and make a nice tidy pile. Keep in mind that we also need space to pull forward with the bed up high in order to fully unload with larger quantities.

Angle
  • Steep slopes can be tricky as they may "cancel out" the effective angle of our dump bed - this can result in an extra spread-out pile, or an inability to fully unload.

    • e.g. compost in wet conditions will stick to the steel dump bed. Inadequate tilt angle under these conditions will lead to a huge mess!

  • Most grades are no problem - some materials, like round rock, easily slide out of our bed under any condition. Each material and situation is different, we'll discuss it ahead of time.

Access
  • Permitting & permissions for your drop point are your responsibility! We will never block sidewalks, bike lanes, alleyways, neighboring driveways, or streets.

  • Talk to your neighbors ahead of your delivery day. You never know they might wanna go in with you on an extra yard or two of compost, or gravel for alley maintenance.

Offloading
  • We do not carry materials away from your drop point. When we hand-unload materials like flagstone, the pieces will be neatly piled within a few steps of our truck. The labor to move and install your delivered materials is your responsibility!

Do the Math

We can deliver about 6 cubic yards of light materials like wood chips, or roughly 4 cubic yards of heavier stuff like gravel.

Think it Through

Pick the right place - close to your work area, no overhead hazards, level-ish, with good vehicle access!

Be Prepared

Mark the drop location with a tarp on delivery day. It makes cleanup easier too!
