Dark Basalt Gravel 3/4" Minus

Dark Basalt Gravel 3/4" Minus is a dark grey crushed rock that contains variable amounts of rusty red pieces. Minus types contain pieces of stone smaller than the screened size. These fine particles of aggregate enable this material to compact very tightly over time.
 
The 3/4" size is great for light & medium duty pathways and driveways and will hold up a bit longer than 5/8" sized materials.
 
Recommended uses
As a single product for establishing a foot path
As a pothole filler or driveway refresher
Anywhere you want a dark gray look, without going all the way to black
 
Consider this...
This material is quite similar to our Black Basalt Gravel 3/4" minus, and customers often ask us about the differences. If you think of a gray scale from 0 (white) to 100 (black) we put our dark basalt products at about 75-80. For comparison aggregates are usually about a 50 on this scale and black basalt is a 90 when dry, and 95 when wet.
