Dark Basalt Gravel 1/4" Minus
Dark Basalt Gravel 1/4" Minus has pieces up to 1/4" in size, and fines all the way down to sandy pieces. It will fill in gaps in any larger material underneath it and compact well to make for a smooth and uniform surface. This material is dark gray, with some pieces of dark reddish and copper colors.

Consider this...
Dark basalt 1/4" minus gravel is like, tiny. It's not going to hold up well to heavy rolling wheels and high traffic volumes. If it gets submerged in soggy soil, you might think it's just mud. You'll want to support material this small by building a good foundation with something like Dark basalt 3/4" minus, or maybe even larger basalt rock. Once you're on a solid footing, use this small stuff as a top course 1" thick or so.
