Quality Black Basalt - 1/2 - 1 man is widely used for terracing, garden walls, and borders. Many hillside properties in the Seattle area include basalt rockeries. Generally this product or the St. Helens basalt will be the best match for older Seattle rockeries. Feel free to photograph your existing rockery and send it to us to help you find the best match. These smaller 1/2 to 1 man pieces can be handled by a single person mostly, but you might still want a helper and a pry bar for some of the larger pieces.
